Ekya ITPL is affiliated with the CBSE Board offering Montessori, Kindergarten programs and Grade 1 – Grade 12. Here the students are part of a stimulating and caring learning community that helps them realise their potential. Our Legacy

Ekya Schools carry a 30-year legacy of educational excellence, rooted in the CMR Group’s commitment to quality education since 1990. What began as a single kindergarten blossomed into CMR National Public School by 2004, a testament to the group’s dedication to nurturing young minds. This dedication, this unwavering belief in the power of education, is what led to the birth of Ekya Schools in 2010. Ekya proudly carries forward this rich history, blending inspiring global teaching methods with a focus on nurturing individual potential, and encouraging a love for learning in every child. In 2012, Ekya ITPL opened its doors, becoming the second school in the Ekya community. Ms. Rakhi Grover

CCA Coordinator

Ms. Rakhi has been a dedicated member of the Ekya family for the past 7 years, demonstrating exceptional commitment to the holistic development of students. A qualified educator with an MBA, BEd, and Montessori teacher training certification, she possesses a diverse range of skills and knowledge to effectively nurture young minds. With extensive experience on campus, Ms Rakhi has showcased her passion for supporting students both inside and outside the classroom. Her involvement in extracurricular activities, particularly her pursuit of dance, fosters a positive and nurturing environment for all students.

Ms Chitra Venkateswaran

CCA Coordinator

Ms. Chitra, a professional in Applied Art from Sir J.J Institute of Applied Art, Mumbai, has diverse experience in both the corporate world and teaching. Beginning at Reliance Industries, she transitioned to lecturing at B.D Somani Institute of Art and Fashion and worked with publishing houses in the Middle East. Passionate about teaching Visual Art in Dubai, she believes in its therapeutic effect. With an interest in singing and writing.

Ms Shiza Khan

Academic Coordinator - Senior School

Ms. Shiza Khan, Primary Academic Coordinator at Ekya ITPL, brings 6 years of educational experience, including 2 years at Ekya. Specialising in English, she has worked in various CBSE and ICSE schools. Committed to quality and holistic education, she fosters a relaxed learning environment by encouraging conversations and positivity. Ms. Shiza holds a Bachelor’s in Commerce, and a Master’s in English, and is CTET-qualified. A lover of debates, she values communication and enjoys pets, art, and music.

Joy Grace

Academic Coordinater- Middle School

Ms. Joy Grace is an educator with over ten years’ experience in teaching, counselling, and life skills. She holds a Master’s in Counselling Psychology and began her career supporting students with emotional and learning challenges. At CMR National Public School for the past six years, she has served as a Life Skills Trainer, English Educator, Lead Teacher, and Co-House Mistress. She is committed to inclusive education and holistic development of every student.

Ms Gayathri S

Academic Coordinator - Pre-primary & Primary

Ms Gayathri is an enthusiastic teacher and an able administrator. Having obtained her B.Tech in Biotechnology from SASTRA University, she found her passion in teaching. Driven by the love for teaching young minds, she pursued formal training in Montessori education from IMTC. Bangalore following which she joined Ekya schools. A stickler for discipline, she is highly organised and methodical in her work. She is ever willing to take up new challenges, striving hard to excel.

Aayushi Kajla

With over 19 years of experience in leading institutions, Aayushi Kajla is known for encouraging and fostering a progressive learning environment with her meticulous and rigorous approach to education. Through the course of her career, she has demonstrated excellence in the fields of curriculum development, strategic partnerships, and leadership. As the Vice Principal of Ekya ITPL, Ms. Aayushi embodies our ethos of educational excellence and innovation. She leads with a commitment to lifelong learning, ethical conduct, and exceptional communication. Ms. Kajla's experience includes prestigious institutions like Scholars Rosary, Jayshree Periwal Group of Schools, and St. Francis World School, where she championed educational excellence and innovation. Driven by a belief in education's power to transform, she aims to expand her leadership, fostering collaborations that enhance educational quality and accessibility.

Academic Coordinator - Early Years & Primary School

Ms. Gayathri exemplifies both dedication to education and exceptional administrative capabilities. After acquiring her Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from SASTRA University, Ms. Gayathri discovered her true calling in teaching. Fueled by a passion for nurturing young minds, she embarked on a formal Montessori education program at the Institute of Montessori Teacher Training (IMTC) in Bangalore. Upon successful completion, she joined EKYA, bringing her enthusiasm and expertise to the institution. Ms. Gayathri fosters a disciplined learning environment, characterized by meticulous organization and methodical approaches. She consistently demonstrates a willingness to embrace new challenges and strives for excellence in all endeavors.

Ms. Swati Sagar
Academic Coordinator - Middle School

Ms Swati has been in educational field for more than a decade during which she has got the opportunity to teach the energetic preschoolers ,highly mischievous middle schoolers , and highly motivated secondary school students to whome she had helped navigate the challenges of life.She has also worked as coordinator Army Public School NDA and as the Headmistress AIR FORCE SCHOOL SRINAGAR. She also carries out Academic Surveys to various schools and was engaged in upliftment of some schools in and around Bengaluru. She strives to add creativity to her work and ensures satisfaction of students and parents. She always carries a positive demeanour and encourages her team to deliver their fullest. She always comes up with new innovatives ways of teaching and encourages her team to do so.

Ms. Shiza Khan, Senior School Academic Coordinator at Ekya ITPL, brings over a decade of diverse experience in the education sector, including 5 years of dedicated service at Ekya. Specializing in English, she has worked in both CBSE and ICSE schools. Ms. Shiza has adeptly handled primary and middle school as an academic coordinator while also excelling as an English educator. Her commitment to quality and holistic education shines through in her ability to foster a relaxed and engaging learning environment, encouraging conversations and positivity among students. Ms. Shiza holds a Bachelor's in Commerce, a B.Ed., and a Master's in English, and is CTET-qualified. Ms. Chitra Venkateswaran is a Visual Arts & Design Specialist with over 12 years of experience as an educator in Mumbai, Dubai, and Bangalore. A proud alumnus of the prestigious Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai, she brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her teaching. Ms. Chitra deeply believes in the therapeutic power of art and advocates for its integration into students' lives beyond the traditional classroom setting. She believes bringing children out of classroom is as important for their growth as staying inside one. In addition to her love for teaching, Ms. Chitra is also an avid painter and music enthusiast, continuously enriching her own artistic journey while inspiring her students to find joy and solace in the arts.

Transportation Guidelines

Here is an indicative list of localities that fall under the transport route provided by Ekya ITPL.
The bus will stop at the allocated pick-up point only.
Door-to-door pick-up will not be entertained.
Students are allowed to use their allotted bus and bus stop. No change will be allowed without prior permission from the school authorities in writing.
Pre Primary and Primary children will only be handed over to the parent/guardian. In their absence at the point, the child will be brought back to school and parents are to pick them up from school directly.
Students must not move around the bus while the bus is in motion.
A student using the school bus is expected to be at the bus stop at least 5 minutes before the scheduled arrival of the bus.
Buses will not wait for latecomers.
Fees once paid will not be refunded.
Parents are to submit their requests for transportation to the office at the time of admission.
Transport facilities will be confirmed and announced before the start of the academic year – based on feasibility and viability determined by student numbers.
